Request ID: 67703-1 Title: QA - Mortgage Tester Locations: San Antonio, TX 78221 100% onsite including day 1 Duration: 6 Months Rate Range: $34 - $43/Hour on W2 (All inclusive) Note: Applicants must be willing to work on w2 Job Description: As a Senior Quality Engineer (Automation & Functional) at Frost, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and stability of complex software systems by combining strong test automation expertise with functional testing requirements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing plans, execute functional testing and build automation scripts using Playwright automation framework, and drive quality improvements across multiple applications. Key Responsibilities: • Define test strategies, test plans, and risk assessments for complex system or program changes. • Write and execute functional and automation test cases, including preparation of required test data. • Design, build, review, and deploy test automation solutions for complex and interrelated systems. • Perform test execution, validation, and defect analysis to identify issues and work with development teams for resolution. • Lead troubleshooting and triage of complex system issues, identify root causes, and recommend process improvements. • Collaborate with product management, project management, development teams, and business stakeholders to define testing objectives. • Track and report defect metrics, automation coverage, and testing progress. • Ensure quality assurance practices align with software development lifecycle and Frost standards. Required Qualifications: • Experience with Client Power platform technologies. • Hands-on experience with functional, API, regression, and automation testing. • Strong knowledge of test planning, execution, requirements traceability, and defect management. • Ability to identify technical issues, misconfigurations, and defects independently. • Experience collaborating across multiple development teams. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with Playwright automation testing. • Experience in the financial/banking industry. • Exposure to project coordination or project management.
