Warehouse Worker - The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation CenterAbout Us The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian church. Job Overview Join our team in "Doing the Most Good" as a Warehouse Worker. This dynamic role combines hands-on warehouse operations with the opportunity to mentor and support program beneficiaries in their work therapy development. You'll help maintain an organized warehouse while making a meaningful impact in people's lives. Pay Rate: $14.00 per hour Status: FT/40 hours-Monday-Friday Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse Operations Load, unload, and move products to correct departments Price merchandise according to guidelines Track production numbers and complete reports Maintain organized work areas and clean environment Operate warehouse equipment as trained Follow safety protocols and procedures Donation Processing Assist donors with donation drop-offs Complete donation receipts accurately Collect and track donor information Process various types of donations including: Clothing and accessories Household items Electronics Furniture and antiques Jewelry and collectibles Equipment Operation May be trained to operate: Baler Compactor Forklift Elevator Other warehouse equipment QualificationsRequired Education & Experience High School Diploma preferred Must read, write, and speak English proficiently Warehouse experience beneficial Customer service experience helpful Skills & Abilities Strong attention to detail Basic math and reporting skills Good manual dexterity Excellent communication abilities Team-oriented mindset Physical Requirements Regular lifting up to 50 pounds Occasional lifting up to 100 pounds Extended standing and walking Frequent bending and reaching Clear vision and depth perception Ability to operate equipment safely What We Offer Meaningful work supporting rehabilitation Professional development opportunities Supportive team environment Training in various specialties Flexible scheduling options Work Environment Warehouse/store backroom setting Low to moderate noise level Temperature variations possible Active, dynamic atmosphere Team-oriented environment The Salvation Army is an equal opportunity emploWarehouse Worker - The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation CenterAbout Us The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian church.
