Job Title: Assembly SupervisorJob DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Assembly Supervisor with a strong experience in Aerospace assembly and team supervision. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in assembly and an additional 5 years in supervising and motivating subordinates. We are looking for individuals who demonstrate a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and detail-oriented mindset.Responsibilities Provide day-to-day guidance and oversight of subordinates. Actively collaborate with the Operations Manager to improve department performance and achieve goals. Motivate, train, and develop department employees. Manage department schedules and workflow in coordination with the Operations Manager. Assign duties and monitor the quality of work to ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and government regulations. Review department efficiencies for improvement and implement changes as necessary. Ensure employees are current on all previous and ongoing training. Monitor employee morale, attendance, and issue warnings with approval from the Operations Manager. Ensure accurate completion of all documentation, both written and computerized. Assist in the creation of work instructions and bills of material as needed. Assemble, modify, rework, and/or reassemble production components using drawings, pick tickets, process documentation, and verbal instructions. Essential Skills Minimum of 5 years' assembly experience in Aerospace or equivalent. Minimum of 5 years' experience in supervising and motivating subordinates. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Team-oriented with the ability to interact with diverse personalities and communication styles. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively. Basic math skills. Basic computer skills. Proficiency in using basic hand-held measuring tools. Ability to read and interpret drawings. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in light industry, continuous improvement, production, blueprint reading, assembly, process improvement, manufacturing processes, supervision, and lean manufacturing.
