Hiring Forklift Operators Join a high-performing team as a Forklift Operator supporting a fast-paced, high-volume operation within a modern, highly automated facility. You'll play a key role in maintaining efficient product flow, safe material handling, and accurate inventory movement across a vertical warehouse and production setting. Available Shifts: 1st Shift: 6:00 AM 2:00 PM 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM 10:00 PM 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM 6:00 AM Job Responsibilities: Operate forklifts safely and efficiently while maintaining strong productivity, accuracy, and utilization Load and unload trailers with damage-free product, ensuring proper weight distribution Use RF scanners, paperwork, and digital tools to verify product quality and complete tasks Inspect incoming materials for damage or defects and unload as directed Move finished goods from production areas to designated warehouse locations Apply FIFO principles using strong product knowledge and RF system accuracy Perform daily forklift inspections and report maintenance needs to the shift supervisor Build case-pick pallets or mixed-product loads to support operational demands Skills/Qualifications: 13+ years of forklift experience in manufacturing, production, or distribution Valid forklift certification Experience using RF scanners, iPads, and Labor Management Systems (LMS) Skilled in loading/unloading trailers in high-volume or tight-space environments Preferred Qualifications: Experience with "person-behind" forklifts or slip-sheet attachments GMP knowledge or experience in food & beverage facilities Proficiency with sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts High School Diploma or GED Why You'll Love Working Here: Competitive medical, dental, and vision benefits with a low deductible Internal mobility and long-term career pathways Employee perks, including discounted pet food Work Environment: Clean, FDA-regulated food production facility Highly automated vertical warehouse environment Distinctive pet-food aroma present throughout the facility Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Commerce City, CO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.65 - $37.15/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
