MAINTENANCE MECHANIC

POSITION INFORMATION Position summary: The Maintenance Mechanic works under the direction of the Maintenance Division Leader to perform repairs, assemble equipment, and maintain machinery, mechanical equipment and building systems and components in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation and parts manuals per manufacture's specifications. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education: High school graduate or equivalent. Ability to read schematics and blueprints required. Required length and type of experience: Minimum three (3) years experience as a maintenance mechanic in a hospital setting or five (5) years experience as a mechanics helper in a hospital setting. Proven experience in installation and maintenance of mechanical equipment with knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems. Required licensure, certification or registry: N/A
