Must be able to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division of decimals and fractions). Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Experience using basic measuring tools such as rulers, tape measures, scales, and calculators. Experience with hand tools, power tools, hoists, and portable welders (TIG/MIG, brazing, soldering) is an asset. Familiarity with testing equipment preferred. Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is an asset. Why This Opportunity? Key Responsibilities: Receive job assignments, materials, and wire from the Team Leader. Verify that all required materials (e.g., wire, dogbone, Nomex, insulation) are correct and adequate for the assigned job. Wind coils according to job specifications and drawings, ensuring all dimensions and tolerances are met. Conduct ratio and turns tests as specified before removing coils from the arbor. Ensure all completed coils meet drawing and specification requirements. Obtain pre-approval from Manufacturing Engineering for any deviations from specifications. Notify Quality Assurance (QA) of any quality issues using the proper forms and procedures.
