Lancaster, TX Order: 509571 Order Type : Temp The Warehouse Associate main responsibility will consist of the movement of goods and materials using powered industrial equipment, manual lift, and manual equipment, in relation unloading, storing and loading freight, and completing tasks in relation to Inbound, Product Handling and Storage, and Outbound Distribution. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for picking and/or packing orders, label printing and inspecting products for orders, and utilizing the specific equipment to pick, pack, and kit products in preparation for shipping and receiving demands to meet customer needs. Located in Lancaster Monday-Friday 8 AM - 4:30 PM Breaks: 2/15-minute paid breaks & 30-minute non-paid lunch break. $18-$20 range, depending on experience Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of experience in a warehouse/distribution setting. Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English. ERP/WMS capabilities, along with Microsoft Excell and Word Knowledge of FedEx ship manager and LTL is a plus Must have a valid or prior forklift certification (minimum 1 year experience) Stand up reach truck Order Picker Sit down forklift Ability to lift 50LBS. Key Performance: Attendance and dependability (on time) are a must Reliable transportation Role Responsibilities: Prepares orders by pulling materials or goods, packing boxes and palletizing, staging orders in delivery area. Load, unload, and put away goods utilizing powered and non-powered material handling equipment and/or manual handling Assists with inventory cycle counts. Maintains quality service by following organization standards. Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Completes daily forklift start-up checklist Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Assist with special projects and tasks as needed within the warehouse
