Warehouse Operations Lead – New Branch Start-UpLocation: Columbus Ohio ProFast is a second generation owned family business that started in 1986 in the Philadelphia area. ProFast operates in the construction product distribution business and has 4 locations with its Corporate Office now located in Harrisburg, PA. We are a growth-minded company and value our employees, customers and teammates and are looking for a like-minded candidate for this role. ProFast is opening a new Ohio branch and is seeking a reliable, hands-on Warehouse Operations Lead to support operations in a 4,000 sq. ft. fulfillment-focused facility. This role works closely with one outside sales representative and reports directly to our Pittsburgh Branch Manager. To be successful in this role, a candidate should be organized, proactive, possess the ability to multitask in a busy work environment and have the communication skills to handle any customer questions and concerns. The Warehouse Ops Lead will operate a forklift, pick, pack, and ship orders, and ensure accurate handling of incoming and outgoing inventory. This role includes assembling equipment, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and providing excellent customer service when interacting with vendors and clients. Teamwork, attention to detail, and a customer-focused attitude are essential. Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Accurate shipping and receiving of inter-company transfer as well as purchase orders for vendors. Receive and verify incoming shipmentsAccurately process receiving and order fulfillment in ERP systemAssembly of new equipment to be delivered to customers.Logging of customer equipment and tools sent in for repairsMaintain a high level of customer service when dealing with customers and vendors alike.Stock and organize inventoryPick, pack, and prepare customer ordersCoordinate LTL shipments and carrier pickupsLoad and unload trucks safelyMake occasional local deliveries using pickup, trailer, or box truckMaintain a clean and safe warehouse environmentWork towards continuous quality improvement.Uphold, support and promote all company policies and procedures Supervisory Responsibilities: The Warehouse Staff have no supervisory responsibility for the Operations Department. Qualifications: 1–3+ years warehouse experience preferredExperience using ERP systems (Netsuite a plus) Familiarity with LTL shipping processesValid driver's license with clean driving record ability to obtain a DOT Health CardAbility to lift 50+ lbsStrong organization skills Attention to detail is a mustComfortable working independentlySelf-motivated and drivenStrong communication sills both written and verbal Experience in construction or industrial supply distribution is a plus.If you are dependable, organized, and ready to help build a new branch from the ground up, we encourage you to apply.
