Administrative Assistant The Child Welfare Resource Center operates in a hybrid work approach where work can be completed remotely, in the Mechanicsburg office, and in the field as necessary and appropriate. Time for this position is estimated as 5% remote work, 90% in the Mechanicsburg office, and 5% in the field. This position is in the Mechanicsburg office and requires that the employee is on location daily. A valid driver's license or the ability to travel to perform the essential functions is required. The Administrative Assistant must be able to operate computers and other office equipment; communicate effectively with management contacts as well as internal and external contacts. This position serves as the initial point of contact for all in person and telephone inquiries to the Resource Center. This position answers the phone, takes messages, and transfers callers; provides general information and appropriately answers customer inquiries from walk-ins, incoming calls, and emails. This position requires proficiency in MS Office Suite including Teams, SharePoint, One Drive, and Outlook. Performs administrative support activities and department specific technical or operations duties for assigned project with some support from others; serves as liaison between internal and external partners. This position also performs a variety of clerical duties including data entry. Experience working with ethnically and culturally diverse populations preferred. Typical field travel required will be statewide throughout the Commonwealth on an infrequent basis, lift up to 50 pounds, provide room set up, move tables and chairs, be able to open and close walls and support audiovisual equipment for meetings and presentations.
