Assembler - 1st Shift Richfield, WI ABR is currently recruiting Assemblers for a growing manufacturing company in Richfield, Wisconsin. These are try-before-hire opportunities with excellent benefits available upon hire. Why You'll Love This Role: 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. No weekends! Overtime available Starting pay: $16-$17/hour (with increases based on performance) Assembler Responsibilities Maintain a safe and clean work environment, including proper use of PPE and safe lifting techniques. Assemble components accurately and efficiently according to approved specifications. Operate equipment, including start-up and shut-down procedures. Load, unload, and feed materials into machines, carts, dollies, and conveyor systems. Inspect parts and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards. Identify and report part, equipment, or process issues to management or lead personnel. Read and interpret gauges, blueprints, manufacturing instructions, and visual aids. Mark and identify parts as required. Record production data and log job activity using the Epicor ERP system. Perform routine cleaning of the production area, including sweeping, mopping, and debris removal. Conserve materials and supplies to minimize waste. Assist with training new employees. Recommend proper tooling and suggest process improvements when appropriate. Follow direction from supervisors and lead personnel to meet production goals. Education & Experience Requirements High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Experience with hand and power tools preferred. Basic math and communication skills required. Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, grip, and grasp up to 35 lbs. Ability to stand and/or walk 8-10 hours per day, with frequent bending, twisting, and reaching.
