Shipping & Receiving Driver Job Description CTL Aerospace is a full service NADCAP certified composite-manufacturing company providing services to the major aerospace and governmental organizations since 1946. CTL specializes in the manufacturing of Fiber Reinforced Polymer Structures. We are seeking an experienced Shipping & Receiving Driver to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment at our northern Cincinnati, Ohio location (less than 30 minutes from Dayton and/or northern Kentucky). Responsibilities: This person has the duties of packaging, crating aircraft parts, and cleaning in the shipping area. In addition, this person will be entrusted with the duty to transport CTL material to and from local suppliers (Dayton, Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky) and other facilities as directed by the Shipping Manager. Requirements: • Packaging parts for shipment to customer and to outside vendors using accepted area packaging methods. (Foam in place, bubble wrap, etc...) • Must be very accurate and good attention to detail. • Will help in receiving and verifying incoming shipments (verifying items against packing slips) • Valid Drivers License • Clean driving record. • Serve as a backup driver in emergency situations. • Ability to multi task • Positive attitude • Effectively able to work as a part of the shipping team. • Must be able to stand for long periods of time in a manufacturing environment. • MUST be able to drive a manual transmission Qualifications: • U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder • HS Graduate or GED • Ability to interact with people on the shop floor, good social skills, and able to work with diverse work groups. • Must have excellent communication skills. • Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment. • Able to lift 50 lbs. and stand for long periods of time.
