As a Lead Warehouse Operations Specialist, you will be a crucial part of our operations team, ensuring the secure storage of inventory and facilitating efficient material movement. In this role, you'll oversee shipping, receiving, and physical inventories to maintain the integrity of our assets. Flexibility in working hours—including days, nights, and weekends—is essential for keeping our operations running smoothly. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and package goods for shipment, generate packing slips, and maintain accurate inventory records. Assist in training and onboarding new Warehouse Technicians to ensure team cohesion. Effectively coordinate expedited orders and manage returns and exchanges. Propose improvements to quality assurance standards and operational procedures to enhance efficiency. Ensure load securement complies with DOT and company safety guidelines. Provide outstanding customer service, addressing inquiries related to product returns. Utilize lifting devices safely to transport materials to designated areas. Adhere to compliance with internal control procedures. Process material stock requests, orders, and returns using our inventory systems. Operate Material Handling Equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, as required. Manage defective, discontinued, or recalled goods following proper procedures. Verify order completeness, check for damages, and perform thorough checks during check-ins and check-outs. Oversee the timely processing of received returns and effectively manage returned goods to vendors. Receive, issue, and securely store supplies, ensuring accuracy and accountability. Qualifications: Minimum Qualification: Must be at least 18 years old with 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse setting and the ability to work outdoors in various conditions. Preferred Qualification: 3 or more years of experience, a High School Diploma/GED, forklift certification, and knowledge of OSHA regulations. Skills & Abilities: Ability to lift/move items up to 100 pounds. Willingness to wear safety gear such as bump caps, gloves, and safety vests. Strong multitasking abilities and flexibility to work hours that may include weekends. Experience in distribution and material handling. Preferred experience in managing and supervising a team. Proficient in training others within a warehouse environment. Knowledge of appliance installation and parts inventory management is a plus. Strong time management skills to effectively prioritize multiple tasks. Familiarity with various furniture types and their characteristics. Compensation: Starting pay may vary based on skills, education, experience, geography, and other factors. Eligible for annual bonuses and performance-based incentives.
