Job Title: Production Technician Job Description Join our innovative team as a Production Technician, where you will play a crucial role in the assembly and manufacturing of tactical equipment for law enforcement and military applications. You will be part of a dynamic environment that values accuracy and innovation, contributing to our reputation as an industry leader. Responsibilities Assemble, test, and package customer orders. Inspect prototypes, production parts, and assemblies. Maintain strict quality control procedures. Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures. Collect materials and equipment needed to complete tasks and assemblies. Keep records of production quantities. Assess and repair/maintain customer equipment. Work with engineers to develop, prototype, and test various parts and assemblies. Maintain tools and product inventory. Maintain export compliance regulations. Participate in occasional domestic and international travel for installation/maintenance programs. Essential Skills Technical knowledge and ability to read assembly drawings. Ability to work with accuracy, speed, and precision. Good understanding of quality control principles. Excellent hand-eye coordination. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Advanced knowledge of hand and power tools. Strong mechanical ability. Good communication skills. Strong organizational skills. Ability to work alone as well as in group projects. Must be a team player willing to go the extra mile. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in manufacturing operations. Forklift certification. Understanding of DC power systems. Ability to solder wires and PCB mounted components. Experience with Microsoft Office and Excel. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Fredericksburg, VA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.19 - $24.03/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
