Assembler B (Production Assembly)Location: North Charleston, SC 29418 (Onsite) Pay Rate: $27/hour Schedule: Variable shift (typically 6:00 AM - 2:45 PM Must be flexible for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift) Interview: Virtual (Teams) with Hiring Managers Job Overview: We are seeking an Assembler B to support production assembly operations in a manufacturing environment. This role involves assembling structural and mechanical components, working with detailed instructions, and contributing to a team-focused production environment. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine production assembly on structural parts, mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and equipment Utilize manual and automated tools to complete assembly tasks Follow detailed work instructions, blueprints, and specifications Collaborate with team members and leadership to resolve production issues Identify constraints and escalate issues when needed Support Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives Participate in cross-training and assist with team performance improvements Support overtime as needed to meet production goals Required Qualifications: 1+ year of manufacturing, assembly, or fabrication experience Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, or work instructions (in English) Experience using basic computer applications (Microsoft Office, email, etc.) Ability to work flexible shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd) High School Diploma or GED Preferred Qualifications: 1+ year of aerospace or high-volume production experience Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and reach overhead Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs Comfortable working in a production environment and handling materials safely Additional Requirements: Must complete required training (OJT or classroom) Strong attendance and reliability required Ability to work in a team-oriented environment with clear communication
