Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service by following Lowe's customer service policies and procedures. Proactively assist customers by understanding their needs and helping them find, demonstrate, and select products. Address customer questions promptly and accurately, guiding them through store areas and projects as needed. Show genuine appreciation to customers for their business. Communicate essential information about stock, special orders, product features, benefits, and warranty details. Complete customer contracts and invoices for equipment rentals and tool repairs in the Tool Rental Department. Participate in cross-training to assist in various store departments and enhance customer service. Identify signs of shoplifting and security risks, reporting them promptly to management or Asset Protection. Maintain store and working areas in accordance with cleanliness and organization standards. Foster a safe work environment through daily safety checks, recognizing hazards, and ensuring clear aisles. Adhere strictly to safety protocols related to job duties, including using safety devices and equipment properly. Operate various store equipment as needed, including phones, computers, and rental tools. Required Qualifications Less than 1 year of experience using a computer for entering, accessing, and modifying information. Less than 1 year of experience with retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets. Less than 1 year of retail experience with customer interactions and problem-solving. Ability to obtain necessary sales-related licensure or registration as required by law.
