Shipping Scale Operator

Job Full Description Shipping Scale Operator (Temp-to-Perm) Location: Kansas City, KS Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM (approximately 40 hours/week) Pay: $14.61/hour, paid weekly We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping Scale Operator to join a warehouse team. This role is primarily computer-based and plays a key part in accurately tracking outgoing and incoming shipments. The ideal candidate is bilingual, organized, and comfortable working in a warehouse environment. Job Responsibilities: Operate the shipping scale to weigh linen carts before they are sent out and when they are received back Accurately enter weight data into the computer system (approximately 95% computer work) Ensure all weights are correct, as this information is used for client billing Stage linen carts after weighing Communicate effectively with warehouse staff Push and move linen carts as needed Qualifications: Bilingual in Spanish and English (must be able to read and write in English) Strong attention to detail and accuracy Basic computer skills Ability to work independently and stay organized Physically able to push carts weighing approximately 200-300 lbs (on wheels) Previous warehouse or shipping experience preferred Benefits of working with Express: Weekly pay Medical, dental, and vision insurance options 401(k) retirement plan Referral bonuses COME WORK WITH THE #1 STAFFING AGENCY IN KANSAS CITY!
