Opportunity: Registered Nurse - CVOR Job Details: - Work Monday through Friday, typically 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM schedule - Early start times vary: 5:45 AM clock-in for 7:00 AM cases, 6:40 AM clock-in for 8:15 AM cases - End times vary: 2:15 PM clock-out for early cases, 3:10 PM clock-out for later cases - Required to be on weekday call 1-2 times per week (stay until cases are finished, then on-call from home) - Weekend call required 1-2 times per 6-week schedule from Friday 3:00 PM to Monday 7:00 AM - Must live within 30-40 minutes of facility for on-call responsibilities - Weekend call-ins are rare; team averages at least 2 cases per day - Minimum 2 years of experience required - Must have cardiothoracic experience - Travel experience required - BLS certification required - Circulating skills required - Valid PA license or Compact license required at time of submission - Patient ratio of 1:1 for all shifts - Care for adolescents, adults, and geriatrics - 10-bed unit with 10 rooms - 10 hours of orientation provided - May be required to float to other sister facilities within 10-mile radius - Must complete fingerprinting within 24-48 hours of signing - Must complete 15-panel drug screen within 24-48 hours of signing Facility: This healthcare facility operates a specialized cardiac surgery program with a dedicated heart team consisting of experienced nursing professionals.
