Airport Warehouse Associate

Description Staff Management | SMX in Austin, TX is hiring motivated Air Logistics Warehouse Associates to support our client's essential daily operations. Morning Shift: 8:00am - 4:30pm Mid Shift: 1:30pm - 10:00pm Overnight Shift: 11:30pm - 8am Perks & Benefits Casual Dress Code Paid Training Weekly paychecks Direct Deposit or Cash Card pay options Medical / Dental Insurance $19.50/hr - $19.50/hr Employment Type & Shifts Temp to Hire Full Time 2nd Shift 3rd Shift 1st Shift Job Responsibilities Load and unload package containers, moving packages by hand and pushcart, to warehouse to truck Build up package containers ready for outbound flights Break down package containers from arriving flights Sort, scan and move packages within the warehouse Operate package handling equipment such as pallet jacks Check air express containers for proper piece count, weight, dimensions and documents as appropriate per air safety and security guidelines High School Diploma or equivalent required One year experience in similar role preferred but not required Must be at least 18 years of age Must be able to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) and holidays. Peak Season (November- December) may require longer hours Shift may change every 90 days, must be available to work any shift Ability to read, write and understand the English language Ability to understand and react to verbal commands and safety warnings, with and without, assistance, of sight or visual aids Associate Requirements HS Diploma or GED Background Check Able to Lift 50 pounds Drug Test Stand for Shift Duration Must be at least 18 years old
