Nocturnist Physician

A rewarding opportunity is available for a Nocturnist Physician looking to join an inpatient setting in a hospital environment. This position involves providing overnight care and the supervision of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). Supported by a variety of specialties, this role is ideal for someone comfortable working in an open ICU environment with no Neurosurgery support. Shifts are available from April through September, offering flexibility and extensive exposure to patient care. Key Details- Assignment Type: Locum Tenens- Setting: Hospital- Start Date: May 1, 2026- Schedule: Night shifts- Patient Population: Adult- Location: Olympia, WA- Stipends: Housing and travel options can be discussed for non-local candidates Benefits- Weekly direct deposit- Malpractice insurance with tail coverage- Supportive credentialing assistance- Lodging and mileage reimbursement (if applicable) Job Responsibilities- Provide overnight hospitalist care in an open ICU environment- Supervise APPs during night shifts- Manage non-invasive and ventilatory procedures - Collaborate with various specialty teams for comprehensive patient care Qualifications- Board Certification required- ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory- Experience with adult inpatient procedures is required- Ability to perform non-invasive ventilation management preferred Working Hours- Night shifts as per available dates: April 5-8, May 6, May 14-20, May 28-June 3, June 11-17, June 25-July 1, July 9-15, July 23-29, August 6-12, August 20-26, September 3-9, and September 17-23 Skills- Proficient in adult inpatient procedures- Experienced in non-invasive ventilation management- Comfortable working in an open ICU setting
