Job Title: General Production Worker ($24/hr)Job DescriptionAs a General Production Worker, you will begin your role in the rubber cutting department where you will be responsible for loading machinery with rubber and packaging the product. You will also be packaging rubber additives into bags and boxes, working on an assembly line to package finished products, and wrapping pallets of finished products using pallet jacks. This role requires the ability to lift up to 60 pounds manually, with the assistance of lifting equipment when necessary.Responsibilities Load machinery with rubber in the rubber cutting department. Package rubber additives into bags and boxes. Work on assembly line packaging finished products. Lift up to 60 pounds of product manually or use lifting equipment. Wrap pallets of finished products and use pallet jacks. Essential Skills Previous machine operation experience in manufacturing. Comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds semi-frequently. Comfortable being on feet for the entirety of an 8-hour shift. Comfortable working with chemicals. Comfortable wearing a respirator/hazmat suit for the entirety of the shift. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with tow motor and forklift operations. Skills in blending, measuring, and mixing. Familiarity with production and chemical operations.
