Hoyer Lift experience is highly appreciated. Our Care phone app tracks client care plans, changes in ADL (Activities of Daily Living) status, and outcomes. This position allows for a full scope of interaction with the client in their home, including assistance with daily living activities and maintaining a comfortable home environment. Benefits: Positive workplace with great teamwork Competitive pay Meaningful work Online training programs, including 12 hours of paid annual coursework Opportunities for professional development and education (learn new skills) Referral bonuses for exceptional caregiver recruits Flexible hours Paid holidays Responsibilities: Provide in-home care with compassion and a caring attitude Help maintain a safe and comfortable home environment Assist with restroom visits and changing adult diapers Help with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as walking, grooming, bathing, and dressing Assist clients with errands, appointments, and social activities Assist with transfers using a gait belt or Hoyer lift (training provided) Update office staff on client progress as needed Qualifications: Must possess a valid driver's license and automobile insurance Experience as a caregiver in a home care setting or skilled facility Must pass national and multi-jurisdictional background checks, Department of Motor Vehicle checks, and TB tests Must be able to meet quality care standards during shifts and follow standard procedures for engaging with the care team Must be able to provide verification of any certifications held Compensation: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour Professional caregivers go by many names: homemakers, home care aides, home health aides, certified nursing assistants, personal care assistants, direct care workers.
