Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Travel Location: Detroit, Michigan Pay: $2,067.20/week Contract Length: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Shift – 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients experiencing speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to support patient recovery and improve communication abilities and overall quality of life. Key Responsibilities Evaluate patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs Provide therapy to improve communication, language comprehension, and swallowing function Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary Document patient evaluations, treatments, and progress in accordance with facility policies Educate patients and families about treatment plans and recovery strategies Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care Requirements Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active state licensure or eligibility to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred Experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred Strong communication and patient care skills
