Assemblers

General Position Summary: An Assembler is responsible for the construction of our flexible heaters. They will be responsible for building the part to print using a combination our engineering drawing, shop traveler, and our various processes and procedures. We will provide hands-on training to the employee in order to successfully complete each task. Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities include the following: Daily responsibilities: 1. Inspect and clean the circuits and plates for lamination. 2. Check the D.C. Resistance. 3. Prepare the Kapton and FEP. 4. Parallel Gap Welding. 5. Scrubbing and abrasion Weekly responsibilities: 1. Potting. 2. Trimming. 3. Attaching adhesive. Other duties may be assigned. Solely responsible for: N/A Independent decisions: N/A Machines, Computers, Equipment used: 1. Vacuum lamination tables 2. Microscope 3. Comparator 4. Flagging machine 5. Welding machine 6. Developer 7. Solder equipment 8. Unitek Parallel Gap Welding 9. DVM (Digital Volt Meter) 10. Chrome plated copper caul sheet. Knowledge of Software: N/A Supervisory Responsibilities: N/A Education, Experience, and/or Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
