Charlotte, NC 28210 o Beds: 337 o Not Trauma Designated o Chest Pain Center o Stroke Center ● Unit Information: o EP Labs: 1 EP Lab, growing to 2 by end of 2026 ▪ Census? Average patients/day? 4-5 EP cases/day o Minimum Years of Experience required? 2 years of EP experience for RN and Tech o Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes ● Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: o Adults only o EP Cases - Electrophysiology Studies (EPS), Catheter Ablations (PFA, Radiofrequency Ablations, and Cryoablations) o Implantable Devices: Generator changes, Cryoablations, Cardioversions, Pacemaker/Defib implants, Bi-V implants, leadless devices (Micra and Aveir Devices) ● Required License, National Certification, Certs: o RN: BLS, ACLS o Tech: BLS, ACLS, ARRT-R OR RCIS or RCES ● Skills required: o EP Tech: experience with above patient types, scrubbing, monitoring, cases. Will scrub/pan simultaneously o RN: experience with above patient types, moderate sedation versed/fentanyl, no propofol (anesthesia will come for any General Anesthesia cases), monitoring/circulating cases, o 4 person teams in each case ● Support within the Department: o Charge RN o Supervisor 4 days/week o Scheduler to schedule cases o Rapid Response/Code Team 24/7 o RRT 24/7 o Hospitalist 24/7 ● Technology/Equipment: o EMR: EPIC o IV Pump: Alaris o Med dispensing: Pyxis o Cardiolab for mapping cases, Reps will help with some cases as well and bring equipment o Hemodynamics: Merge ● Floating: If yes, where? o No ● Orientation (facility and unit): o NEO o Remainder of 1st week will be orienting ● Other notes: o Scrub Color: Provided o Parking: Free o Unit Culture: ● #TB_HC #ZRHC Talent Burst Job ID #26-07557.
