Job Title: Assembler - 2nd ShiftJob DescriptionJoin our team as an Assembly Technician on the 2nd shift from 4:30 PM to 3:00 AM, Monday through Thursday. As a vital member of our assembly team, you will perform a variety of repetitive processes using machines and hand tools to assemble and sub-assemble component parts.Responsibilities Assemble bundles by setting up baffles into fixtures and using calipers to measure distances. Utilize glue guns as per work orders and insert cores into castings for the pinning and pressing process. Assist in other assembly areas, such as brazing, pressing, and cooler pressing departments. Ensure caps are aligned and run through the press machine, followed by quality checks and packing into shipping containers. Perform air pressure tests after pressing and remove plates after assembly. Maintain production records, downtime, and quality. Visually inspect work with measuring devices to meet quality standards. Keep work area and equipment clean and orderly. Perform necessary computer transactions in various software programs. Undertake other miscellaneous job assignments as directed. Essential Skills Mechanically inclined with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience. Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools. Attention to detail is crucial. Ability to comprehend work orders with basic arithmetic skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Experience in direct manufacturing assembly is a plus. Hand dexterity and ability to work with both hands. Safety consciousness and willingness to cross-train. Collaborate in cell groups of 3 to 6 individuals. The pressing operation is ergonomically designed, contributing to over five years without a work loss injury.
