Job Title: Production Associate - 1st Shift Job DescriptionJoin our team as a Production Associate on the day shift from Monday to Friday, 6am-2pm. We are seeking enthusiastic individuals with a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn quickly. Prior experience in electronic manufacturing, particularly with either through-hole or surface mount soldering, is advantageous, but we are also open to entry-level candidates from diverse backgrounds such as retail, fast food, or other manufacturing fields.Responsibilities Perform testing, inspection, light assembly, machine operation, and packaging tasks. Support production manufacturing to meet customer deadlines. Acquire job skills and learn company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks. Work under close supervision on assignments that are routine in nature. Operate within established policies and procedures and seek approval for deviations. Meet production standards and goals, including metrics for assembly tasks. Handle lightweight materials and assemble parts by hand. Essential Skills Basic computer skills, including the ability to navigate programs similar to internet browsers, basic Excel for documentation, and Outlook. Ability to interpret blueprints and use hand tools. Great attitude and flexibility to assist in various departments. Eagerness to progress and establish a career within the company. Additional Skills & Qualifications Adaptability to changes in work plans and priorities. Support for improvement initiatives and active participation in improving the work environment. Ability to work cooperatively in a team and cross-functional teams. Maintaining composure in stressful situations and effective communication with co-workers. Willingness to take on additional assignments and complete them on time without compromising quality. High School diploma or equivalent GED is preferred. One or more years of related experience is preferred. Attention to detail and ability to learn and perform various tasks frequently. Employees have the option to sit or stand during their 10-hour shift, although standing is required at times. The role involves handling lightweight materials, with no more than 10-15 lbs. to lift, and working towards specific assembly metrics. The shift is Monday to Friday, 6am-2pm.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nampa, ID.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
