OverviewThis is a hybrid role - 2 days remote and 3 days in the Malvern, PA office CubeSmart is hiring a Cybersecurity Analyst to join our Information Technology team at our Malvern, PA headquarters. This role supports the ongoing monitoring, coordination, and continuous improvement of CubeSmart's cybersecurity posture. The Cybersecurity Analyst helps ensure that cybersecurity risks are identified, understood, and addressed through strong collaboration with internal IT teams and external security service providers. Working cross-functionally across Infrastructure, Application Development, and business teams, this teammate will contribute to strengthening CubeSmart's security visibility, improving response readiness, and supporting execution of practical risk-reduction initiatives. Responsibilities Reporting to the Head of Cybersecurity, this role supports the monitoring, coordination, and continuous improvement of CubeSmart's cybersecurity posture. The Cybersecurity Analyst serves as a key operational partner to IT teams and external security service providers, helping ensure that security risks are visible, prioritized, and addressed in a timely and structured manner. Security Monitoring & Operational Coordination Act as the primary day-to-day liaison with CubeSmart's external 24x7 cybersecurity monitoring provider (CSOC), supporting alert triage coordination, investigation follow-up, and improvement of detection and response processes. Track and analyze security alerts, incident trends, and investigation outcomes to help identify areas for improved visibility or risk reduction. Support coordination of incident response activities, including communication, task tracking, and documentation. Help validate that recommended security improvements resulting from monitoring activities are appropriately prioritized and implemented. Risk Visibility & Exposure Awareness Maintain awareness of CubeSmart's technology environment and evolving attack surface, including systems, applications, and cloud services that may introduce new or changing security risks. Assist in tracking vulnerability remediation progress and support coordination with IT teams to reduce exposure in alignment with risk priorities. Help identify opportunities to strengthen monitoring coverage, logging visibility, and protective controls across the environment. Support periodic reviews of security tool outputs and dashboards to ensure meaningful risk insights are communicated to leadership. Security Program Support & Continuous Improvement Contribute to the development and maintenance of cybersecurity metrics, reports, and operational dashboards. Support security awareness initiatives, including phishing simulation coordination and user risk-reduction efforts. Assist in documenting security processes, playbooks, and operational procedures to improve consistency and program maturity. Participate in evaluation and rollout support for new security capabilities, tools, or process improvements. Cross-Functional Partnership Work closely with Infrastructure, Application Development, and other IT teams to help coordinate implementation of security improvements and risk mitigation actions. Provide operational security input on technology changes, projects, and system deployments where appropriate. Help promote a collaborative security culture by supporting practical, business-aligned cybersecurity practices across the organization. QualificationsEducation Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field preferred. Experience Approximately 3-5 years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure, security operations, or cybersecurity-related roles. Experience working with enterprise technologies such as endpoint management platforms, identity systems, cloud services, or security monitoring tools preferred. Exposure to incident response coordination, vulnerability management processes, or security monitoring environments is a plus. Experience working with third-party service providers or managed security services is beneficial. Demonstrated experience taking ownership of operational improvements or driving issues to resolution across teams. Knowledge & Skills Foundational understanding of cybersecurity concepts such as threat detection, vulnerability management, identity security, and security logging. Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks or best practices such as CIS Controls or NIST Cybersecurity Framework is helpful. Ability to analyze operational data and communicate risk insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when tracking remediation actions, incidents, and security improvements. Interest in learning emerging cybersecurity technologies and evolving threat trends. Professional & Interpersonal Skills Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively across IT teams and business partners. Clear written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated curiosity, initiative, and willingness to grow business and cybersecurity expertise. Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on commitments.
