Property Accountant

Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Property Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $30 to $32 per hour. Job Responsibilities: Compile and analyze financial data transactions. Create regular reports that summarize income, expenses, and other financial metrics for properties. keep track of company-owned assets, such as buildings, land, and equipment. Ensure accurate records of acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation. Maintain and reconcile various financial records. This includes ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, investment portfolios, and balance sheets. Verify property details, tenant information, and lease terms. Maintain accurate data related to real estate assets. Analyzing balance sheet and profit and loss (P&L) statements, making necessary adjusting journal entries. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business management. 2-5 years of experience in real estate or property management accounting. 2 plus years of experience with Yardi Voyager software.
