Warehouse Associate

Overview The Warehouse Associate is primarily responsible for replenishing, picking, packing, and shipping customer orders including accurate verification, completion of paperwork and materials management. Warehouse Associates perform proper inventory maintenance activities using quality control steps and specified warehouse procedures. They also operate material handling equipment and maintain a safe and clean warehouse environment. Responsibilities Contributes to a positive work environment and promotes the vision, mission and values of BMC. Completes all job responsibilities in a safe manner, promotes and champions a safe and healthy work environment. Read and execute parts tickets and packaging instructions accurately while recognizing distinctions between products. Use scanner equipment to scan material into inventory and onto shipment. Utilize inventory processes, warehouse locations and bin layouts to complete tickets. Pull parts in a timely and efficient manner. As required, or directed, operate forklift to transfer finished product and secure product for shipment. Inspects forklift daily prior to operation and requests preventative maintenance as required. Perform all duties in a safe manner by following safety protocols; identify and correct safety concerns in the shipping/receiving area Keep assigned area clean and organized. Work as a member of a team Performs other duties as assigned.
