LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist in St. Louis, MO. Ideal candidates will have demonstrated experience reconciling invoices, managing freight-related billing, and ensuring accurate and timely payment of vendors. This role supports company financial controls through detailed review, proper coding, and compliance with internal procedures. Title: Accounts Payable Specialist Type: Direct Hire/Permanent Location: St. Louis, MO (100% on-site) Compensation will vary upon experience: $50,000 - $65,000 annualBenefits: Health/Dental/Vision/401(k)/PTO/Holidays etc. Job Description: Adhere to company procedures, approval workflows, and internal control requirements Safeguard confidential financial and company information Organize, file, and maintain accounts payable documentation Reconcile vendor statements and associated monthly transactions Collaborate with internal departments to resolve PO, contract, invoice, and payment issues Execute payments through vendor portals Generate weekly bank reports and record ACH and autodebit transactions Prepare ACH batches and issue accounts payable checks Assign expenses to correct cost centers and general ledger accounts Verify voucher activity by reconciling reports against invoice totals Retrieve and evaluate weekly carrier billing reports from online portals Submit and reconcile claims Examine and process invoices, identifying overcharges Perform accounts payable voucher processing, including 3way match, Assist in GL coding, verification, and reconciliations Qualifications Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Accounting knowledge and general math proficiency Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (moderate level) and Microsoft Word Data entry skills Ability to analyze information accurately and efficiently Pay Details: $50,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year Search managed by: Amanda Bellson Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled Military connected talent encouraged to apply To read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please navigate to The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable: The California Fair Chance Act Los Angeles City Fair Chance Ordinance Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance Massachusetts Candidates Only: It is unlawful in Massachusetts to require or administer a lie detector test as a condition of employment or continued employment.
