This role will support the development department by optimizing life cycle strategies and preventative maintenance plans to ensure the highest quality work and equipment reliability. What You'll Do:Manage and develop a team of employees, engage in meaningful conversations, build trusted relationships and provide the resources, feedback, and development opportunities they need to be successfulDevelop and implement standards for category critical systems & equipment; approve system modificationsUtilize subject matter expertise to evaluate the quality of work performed by contractors and technicians and provide feedbackLeads equipment & process optimization efforts; responsible for change management of systems and assisting with troubleshootingMaintain system capacities; keep current and accurate data of system operationDeliver concise, data‐driven project updates and results to senior leadershipEstablish partnerships within Construction, Design Services, Indirect Procurement, and Maintenance Operations on engineering standards for systems and equipmentEstablish strong working relationships with Division Store Maintenance Managers, Manufacturing and Facility Maintenance Managers, contractors and Division & Store Managers to develop clear expectations, prioritize and mediate project challengesSupport training for team members on category equipment and systemsUse data & costs to develop and own category preventative maintenance program & compliance standardsSet strategy and goals for category; participate in capital planning and represent category on projectsReview and analyze category asset and repair history; identify root causes, and provide recommendations for continuous improvementUtilize knowledge of Wegmans BIM strategy to help implement throughout the Maintenance organization Requirements:5 or more years of experience in Building Management Controls Systems or Industrial Control SystemsProject management experience including planning, executing and closing projectsExperience presenting project updates and outcomes to senior leadership2 or more years of experience managing and developing othersExperience with one or more control systems for commercial refrigeration, industrial refrigeration, manufacturing or building automation systemsAdvanced knowledge of technical systems and equipmentAbility to take complex data and translate into actionable recommendations Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a related fieldExperience with maintenance building management and control systems and/or programs, i.e.: Delta, BMS, Emerson-CPC, or Allen Bradley PLCExperience building and maintaining external vendor relationshipsExperience developing maintenance programsExperience leading divisional or companywide initiatives or projectsExperience utilizing CMMS Systems At Wegmans, we've always believed we can achieve our goals only if we first fulfill the needs of our people.
