Material Handler- Mon-Thur

Job Full Description Pay Rate: $18 Shift: Mon - Thur 6am - 4:30pm Location: Hanover Twp We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Material Handler to support daily operations in a piling and heavy materials environment. This role is responsible for moving, loading, unloading, and organizing steel and related materials to ensure an efficient and safe production flow. Key Responsibilities Load, unload, move, and stage steel piling and other materials throughout the facility Safely operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, cranes, hoists, or pallet jacks (as trained) Assist machine operators and production staff by supplying materials as needed Inspect incoming materials for damage, accuracy, and quality Maintain organized inventory and properly label and store materials Prepare materials for cutting, fabrication, or shipping Follow production schedules and work instructions Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards Comply with all safety policies, OSHA regulations, and internal procedures Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members regarding material needs or issues Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Prior experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial setting preferred Forklift experience Ability to read basic work orders and measurements Strong attention to safety and detail Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, with heavier materials moved using equipment Ability to work in an industrial environment with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures Skills & Competencies Dependable and punctual Strong work ethic and willingness to assist where needed Safety-conscious mindset Ability to work independently and as part of a team Basic mechanical or material-handling aptitude What We Offer Steady, full-time employment opportunity Competitive pay based on experience Hands-on training and opportunity for growth Team-oriented and safety-focused work environment Wilkes-Barre, PA 2831 16 South River Street Suite 301 Wilkes Barre Township, PA 18702
