Summary: The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for assisting with shipments coming in and out of the warehouse and supporting delivery operations as needed. This position moves incoming materials to proper locations within the facility, retrieves necessary items for outgoing shipments, and assists with delivery of parts and materials to suppliers and customers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Basic understanding of parts identification Prepare parts and materials for transport and shipment Ability to crate orders for shipment Assist with delivery of materials to suppliers and/or customers Pick up materials from suppliers and deliver to locations throughout the facility Perform in-house mail runs (pickup and delivery) Stage parts appropriately for all destinations Move incoming materials to proper warehouse locations Maintain inventory accuracy by following standard control practices Assist with cycle counting Operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) including pallet jacks and forklifts Maintain safe handling and transport of materials within the facility and during deliveries Conduct basic vehicle checks and report maintenance concerns Follow all DOT requirements and company driving policies Other duties as assigned Non-Essential Job Functions Perform routine housekeeping activities Assist other departments when needed Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
