SHIFT: Monday - Friday | 1:00 PM to 9:30 PMSUMMARY This Assembler 1 role supports specialized manufacturing processes including conformal coating, wash operations, and depaneling within the production environment. The position operates on a non-standard shift (Monday – Friday, 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM) and requires the ability to work effectively across shift transitions while coordinating with multiple supervisors and team members throughout the day. This role may involve working with chemical coatings and cleaning agents, and the employee must be comfortable wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE), including a respirator, and following safety procedures associated with these processes. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESProduce quality products with manual assembly processes such as stuffing, hand assembly, mechanical assembly, soldering (lead and lead-free). Support specialized production processes including conformal coating, wash operations, and depaneling as required to maintain production flow. Follow appropriate quality policies and procedures. Accurately record quantity using Factory Logix. Perform work to appropriate efficiency and utilization standards. Practice and participate in Continuous Improvement and Lean activities, supporting change and identifying ways to improve processes and efficiency. Build product as directed by Team Leader/Supervisor. Actively participate in work group/team activities, as an enthusiastic, positive and dependable team member. Maintain a clean and safe work area and environment. Follow all safety procedures and properly utilize required PPE, including respirators, when working with chemicals or processes that may produce strong odors. Provide input to problem solving process and possess good communication skills. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONSPositive and dependable team members with a strong work ethic. Punctual, reliable, and adaptable to changing work environments. A collaborative approach to addressing issues. Effective communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with all team members. Flexible and able to adjust to shifting tasks based on business needs. Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English to effectively communicate and comprehend internal company documentation. Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) are required. Ability to interpret and understand performance graphs and other data visualizations. Ability to apply critical thinking to assess product quality and ensure compliance with written documentation. Capable of performing basic data entry transactions. Ability to work effectively in an environment where multiple supervisors may provide direction as production shifts transition. CERTIFICATIONSWithin one year of employment, must pass the Milwaukee Electronics Component Identification course. Within one year of employment, must achieve a passing score on the IPC-A-610 certification course (current revision). Physical Demands While performing the duties of this position, the employee may be seated or standing, based on their workstation. Employee is occasionally required to stand and/or walk; Employee must frequently use hands to point, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms, lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Vision requirements include close & distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
