Forklift Operator Operate a stand-up reach truck forklift to efficiently manage shipping and receiving tasks. Provide materials to production lines and remove materials when necessary. You will also be responsible for loading and unloading trucks while utilizing scan guns to enter items into the system and complete necessary paperwork. Responsibilities Operate stand-up reach truck forklift for shipping and receiving materials. Supply materials to production lines and remove them as needed. Load and unload trucks while scanning items using RF scanners. Handle raw materials by transporting them to and from production lines. Perform general labor tasks related to production, shipping, receiving, and inventory management. Essential Skills Experience with stand-up reach truck forklift operation. Proficiency in using RF scanners for inventory and shipping tasks. 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a food manufacturing plant. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in a food manufacturing environment is preferred. Strong communication skills to work effectively with warehouse employees, production workers, and supervisors. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work the 1st shift from 11 am to 7:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with potential overtime of up to 12-hour shifts per day. Overtime on Saturdays is mostly mandatory, ranging from 8 to 12-hour days. Collaborate with a team of 5-10 warehouse employees and over 30 production workers. Dress code requires pants, steel-toed boots, and personal protective equipment such as lab coats, freezer jumpers, hard hats, glasses, and gloves, which are provided. Adhere to GMP practices, including hand washing, shoe sanitization, and use of PPE on the production line. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Louis, MO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
