Details Inpatient hospital setting with potential floating to a nearby sister hospital Patient population includes those requiring swallowing, communication, and cognitive assessments and treatment Uses Epic for charting Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, no weekends 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day Requirements Active NJ Speech-Language Pathologist license required (license required if applicable) Master's degree or higher from an accredited speech and language program Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute, subacute, or home care setting Strong customer service and communication skills Two professional references required for consideration Additional Information Perform baseline assessments of patient swallowing, communication, and cognitive abilities Develop, implement, and revise individualized plans of care in collaboration with patients, families, and physicians Provide instruction in safe swallowing techniques, communication strategies, and cognitive training as indicated Participate in interdisciplinary team (IDT) meetings and case management responsibilities Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible Epic charting experience is utilized in this role American Traveler Job ID #P-689845.
