Duration: 0-12+ Months (Contract to Hire) Shift: 8 am to 5 pm (M-F)Knowledge/Skills/Competencies: - Leadership - Multi-Tasking - Detail Oriented - Decision Making - Organization - bility to Prioritize - Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel - bility to learn shipping and operating systems quickly (P21 and Quick ship) - bility to operate warehouse equipment including pallet jacks and Work Assist Vehicles - bility to lift up to 50lbs - Forklift Certification a plus Job Description (Includes but not limited to): 1) Check in, label, and put away inbound shipments using Microsoft Excel and P21 operating system 2) Organize and prepare inventory transfer shipments as part of the inbounding process 3) Work with Quality Control Department and perform quality inspections as required as part of the inbounding process 4) Keep track of inbounding discrepancies using Microsoft Excel 5) Keep good records of shipments and good paperwork organization of shipments and transfers 6) Perform inventory and bin adjustments in P21 as part of the inbounding process 7) Locate missing parts 8) Unload inbound shipments at dock 9) Help in other departments as needed Looking for a Candidate that will be able to transition into a Floor Supervision role following their conversion to an Full Time Employee - Please see below job description.FLOOR SUPERVISOR (OUTBOUND) Knowledge/Skills/Competencies - Leadership - Multi-Tasking - Detail Oriented - Decision Making - Organization - Ability to Prioritize - Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel - Ability to learn shipping and operating systems quickly (P21 and Quick ship) - Ability to operate warehouse equipment including pallet jacks and Work Assist Vehicles and band saws - Ability to lift up to 50lbs Job Description 1) Oversee picking/packing/shipping of daily orders. Including but not limited to: A) Day-to-day shipping of UPS, FedEx, USPS and LTL shipments B) Organizing, noting, and recording Pick Tickets as they come off the printer C) Positioning Pickers and Packers based on order volume with Andrew's guidance D) Responsible for recognizing large influxes of Pick Tickets and requesting help from other departments with Warehouse Manager guidance E) Must help with daily picking/packing when order volumes are high F) Make rate shopping and LTL/Ground shipping decisions with Warehouse Manager guidance G) Assist in making packing decisions H) Process production orders for pickers I) Master shipping software J) Must be willing to work after hours if needed to finish the job for the day K) Schedule LTL shipments L) Process International shipments Follow processes for Central East, England, and France shipments including work in P21, paperwork organization, spreadsheet organization, email communication. K) In charge of Outbound Aisle Maintenance 2) Responsible for picking, packing, shipping and confirming all large customer orders. Including but not limited to: Balkamp Family Farm Tractor Supply International Shipments (CE, France, England) Other large stock orders 3) In charge of placing corrugate orders4) In charge of coordinating snap packing with Warehouse Manager guidance
