Job Description

Buyer Administrator Location: Irvine, CA Duration: 6+ months Shift: 8am - 5pm Summary: Provides administrative support to the Purchasing/Supply Chain team, focusing on ERP data accuracy, RFQs, purchase orders, and supplier coordination/compliance. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and update procurement data in ERP systems (lead times, order details, supplier info) Support indirect purchasing: send RFQs, collect quotes, and create purchase orders Ensure accuracy of POs (pricing, delivery dates, terms, documentation) Track and maintain supplier compliance documents (certifications, questionnaires, etc.) Follow up with suppliers on quotes, confirmations, and missing information Communicate with internal teams and suppliers to support timely order processing Requirements: 1+ year experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain support Experience with RFQs, POs, and supplier coordination Strong Excel and MS Office skills High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks Preferred: Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards) Knowledge of indirect purchasing/MRO and supplier compliance
