This position also maintains the appropriate par levels for assigned areas of the network, performs a variety of clerical and manual tasks in the receipt, verification, storage, issuance, and delivery of various supplies and equipment. Typical Duties: Keeps warehouse organized and assists with maintenance of inventory. Prepares and ships out vendor returns. Distributes shipments and supplies when requested. Ensures that controlled activities (i.e., deliveries, shipping, receiving, inventory control process, etc.) are documented and maintained in a manner commensurate with accepted accountability standards. Maintains clean and orderly conditions in assigned work areas. Operates carts, flatbeds and equipment to pick up and deliver materials and supplies. Assists in the planning, development and implementation of safety and security programs and activities. Replenishes par levels as requested by supervisor. Performs the receiving functions for incoming shipments for supplies and equipment according to hospital and departmental policy. Rotates stock to assure oldest date stock is used first: (FIFO) First In, First Out method. Transports and transfers supplies and equipment from one area to another and filling requisitions from various departments according to established delivery schedule. Monitors warehouse stock supplies for damaged and/or expired products. Assists with par level replenishment when requested. Delivers STAT requests. Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications: Required Education and Experience: High School Diploma GED equivalent required. Preferred Education and Experience: 2 plus years of warehouse experience. Location Address: 1500 S.
