We are looking for a Day Shift Forklift Operator to join our team at our SE Portland, OR location . The Forklift Operator contributes to our mission by cleaning and organizing the warehouse, loading and unloading trucks with products and ingredients, picking orders, issuing work orders using a scanner, and supporting production with the delivery of ingredients and storage of finished product. This position is essential to support the department in maximizing customer satisfaction for both internal and external customers. You will also have access to some amazing benefits such as: Medical, Dental, Vision insurance on DAY ONE Company paid STD, LTD, and Life Insurance on DAY ONE 80 hours of vacation and 40 hours of sick time per fiscal year 401(k) Retirement Savings plan that includes company's matching contributions up to 4.5% Wellness reimbursement towards gym membership and/or exercise equipment Referral bonuses totaling $750 when an employee refers someone to work with our company Position Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesMaintain safe and positive work environment in compliance with OSHA, company standards, and local, state and federal requirements Perform tasks necessary to meet warehouse goals Accurately complete all necessary paperwork Manage day to day inventory levels Maintain Forklift certification Periodic inventories Stacks and arranges product on pallets Completes forklift and pallet jack inspections before each shift Replenish stock while maintaining a cleaned and organized warehouse/location daily Moves product in warehouse/location as necessary during reallocations of space or taking of inventory Rotates product and arranges according to Julian dates or FIFO (first in first out) Receives and checks against receiving documents incoming product, ensuring proper product code, quantity and condition; reports any discrepancies to the lead Operates electric forklifts Works in and out of freezers, temperatures average 32 degrees to -10 degrees General support of production Required to wear hairnet, freezer suit, captive boots, earplugs, and gloves provided by the Company Position Qualifications1+ year of warehouse experience 1+ year of STANDING forklift experience Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software Ability to work in production/warehouse environment with constant exposure to loud machinery Ability to work in extreme temperatures, both indoors and outdoors Ability to work in a fast paced environment Preferred High school diploma or GED Forklift certification #INDPOR
