Accounts Payable Clerk Location: Greater Waterbury Area | Type: Full-Time | Schedule: Onsite Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join a well-established organization in the Greater Waterbury area. This position plays a key role in ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments within a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. Key Responsibilities: Process a high volume of vendor invoices with accuracy and efficiency Match purchase orders, invoices, and receiving documents Resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal departments Prepare and process check runs and ACH payments Maintain organized and up-to-date AP files and records Assist with month-end closing tasks as needed Provide support during audits and reporting cycles Qualifications: 1+ year of accounts payable experience, preferably in a high-volume environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Experience with ERP systems; proficiency in Excel a plus Ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and vendors Healthcare or non-profit experience is a plus, but not required Why Join This Team?
