Contract Type: Temp / Onsite Pay: $16.50 - $18.50 per hour Shift/Hours: Mon-Fri, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM As a Warehouse Associate, you'll play an important role in making sure freight gets where it needs to go. You'll work alongside a top-caliber management team that understands the transportation industry and supports your career growth.Responsibilities: Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks and checking in merchandise. Match purchase orders to sales orders and distribute orders to sales associates for processing. Read customer orders, work orders, and shipping orders to determine items to be moved, gathered, or shipped. Ensure the warehouse is accessible and safe for both employee and customer traffic. Complete all work in a safe manner, adhering to all safety policies and procedures. Assemble products and participate in inventory counts as needed. Take check calls from drivers to ensure loads will deliver on time and validate load data for accounting purposes. Monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries; verify that loads have arrived on time and in good condition. Requirements: Reliability: Must have reliable transportation and maintain regular attendance. Physical Ability: Must be able to lift, push, or pull at least 75 pounds and load/unload trucks. Communication: Basic written and verbal communication skills. Technical Skills: Basic computer skills; experience using handheld scanners is a plus. Experience: Previous dock or warehouse experience in the transportation industry and experience loading/unloading trailers is preferred. Critical Thinking: Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal, or diagram form. Flexibility: Availability to work a variety of shifts (days, evenings, nights, and weekends) due to varying freight volumes. Ready to take the next step in your warehouse career?
