Warehouse Associate

Our client, a leading organization in the transportation and logistics industry, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join their team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting the logistics team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Warehouse Associate Location: Miami, FL Pay Range: 17/hr Shift: 4am-12:30pm. Off 1 weekend day & off 1 weekday. What's the Job? Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders, and distributing orders to sales associates for processing Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, and/or shipped Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for employee and customer traffic Complete work in a safe manner by adhering to all safety policies and procedures Assemble products and participate in inventory counts as needed What's Needed? Basic written and verbal communication skills Basic computer skills Availability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends, due to varying freight volumes Dock or warehouse experience in the transportation industry Experience loading and unloading trailers and using handheld scanners What's in it for me?
