Our client in Fulton, MD, a large and privately-held company is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to support full-cycle AP operations with a focus on highvolume invoices, expense auditing, and multi-state sales & use tax compliance. Offering: Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package 100% paid medical, dental & vision (for you + family) HSA/HRA options with up to $2,000 company contribution 401(k) match up to 6% 3+ weeks PTO to start, up to 5 weeks over time Parental leave for female and male Brand new Modern office perks: golf simulator, rooftop terrace, kombucha & cold brew on tap, Fun team events to include: Orioles opening day, sailboat outing, pickleball and bowling, cornhole tournament, annual holiday party Supportive, peoplefirst culture with long employee tenure Collaborative team and stable leadership Accounts Payable Specialist Job Duties: Process highvolume invoices with accurate coding, matching, and vendor reconciliation Support weekly AP payments and employee expense reimbursements Review and audit expenses for policy compliance and resolve discrepancies Validate sales & use tax, calculate use tax accruals, and assist with multistate tax reporting as needed Collaborate with vendors, project teams, and internal departments to resolve invoice issues Contribute to process improvements and support AP automation tools (TimberScan Titanium a plus) Review and audit employee expense reports for policy compliance Process weekly reimbursement payments Ad-hoc projects, assist with reviewing payroll time cards Accounts Payable Specialist Qualifications: 3+ years of progressive Accounts Payable experience Construction/manufacturing industry experience preferred Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred Experience with ERPs (Acumatica, Timberscan a plus) and strong Excel skills Knowledge of GAAP and multi-state sales/use tax High attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to meet deadlines Payroll experience is a plus, not a requirement #INMAR2026 #LI-JG1 EB-1686119346
