Warehouse Worker Location: Joliet, IL 60431 Pay Rate: $17.00/hr Shift: 1st Shift II (8AM-4:30PM) Position Summary: Total Talent Resources is seeking hardworking and dependable Warehouse Associates - Receiving to join our team at Western Post. This position is physically demanding and requires consistent lifting, standing, walking, bending, and movement throughout the entire shift. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving products, reviewing packaging and Bills of Lading (BOLs), unloading products from containers, maintaining an organized and clean work area, and assisting with additional warehouse duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager. Essential Job Functions Unload containers and shipments in a timely and safe manner Inspect incoming products for damages and verify shipment accuracy Review packaging labels, Bills of Lading (BOLs), and packing slips Sort and organize materials in designated warehouse locations Maintain accurate documentation of received goods Palletize, shrink wrap, and stage materials for storage or shipment Keep work areas clean and organized to maintain safety standards Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse protocols Assist with inventory counts as needed Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment Repetitive use of hands and arms Ability to work overtime as required Associate can report any hazards and concerns to the Illinois Department of Labor by calling the Departments Day and Temporary Labor Services Act toll-free hotline at 1-877-314-7052 or emailing at Total Staffing and QFS does not provide any transportation resources or meals for our associates during any assignments.
