Title: Quality Inspector Location with zip code: Everett, WA 98204 Duration: 3 + months Pay rate: $25-$28/hr. on w2 Shift Timing (Day/ Evening/ Night): 1st Shift - M-F 05:00 am-1:30pmJob Description: Client, a leader in aviation technology, is offering an exciting opportunity for an Quality Inspector to join our fast-paced and innovative team. In this critical role, you will support our sustaining business for one of client's' key value streams: Advanced Lavatories and Cabin Integrations (ALCI). As a Quality Inspector, you will be at the heart of our quality operations, ensuring that production and quality procedures are meticulously followed to ensure 100% quality for client's' customers. This is your chance to be part of a close-knit team of professionals, where you will be responsible for conducting all Quality Inspection and coordination activities in a manner that conforms to company and H&S procedures. Role & Responsibilities: Mechanical and Cosmetic inspection Provide Quality control activities including new product introduction Provide inspection services for incoming goods, returns and assembly Document non-conformances and report major quality issues to leadership First Article inspection Skills and Experience: Candidates will be required to complete a vision test for this role. Safety glasses are required. It is essential that the successful candidate have solid inspection experience gained in a manufacturing environment. Technically competent, able to read and interpret engineering drawings. Independence & Teamwork: Ability to work autonomously as well as collaborate effectively with a team. Attention to Detail: Capable of maintaining precision in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines. Strong Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication and numerical skills are essential. Familiarity with Quality disciplines including 8D reporting, 5 Whys and the completion of corrective action reports. (also, essential) Education: HS Diploma/GED +2 years relevant experience OR in lieu of degree 4+ years of RELEVANT experience Overtime: Occasionally there is opportunity for more hours, not very often. Voluntary OT on Saturday if it comes up. Interview preference: will be virtual
