Position Overview The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for supporting the accurate and timely processing of multi-state payroll in a fast-paced corporate environment. This role works closely with HR, Talent Acquisition, and leadership teams to ensure payroll accuracy, compliance with regulations, and excellent service to employees. Key ResponsibilitiesProcess weekly and bi-weekly payroll for multi-site, multi-state employees. Review payroll changes for accuracy and resolve discrepancies before final processing. Maintain payroll records and documentation to meet audit and compliance requirements. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations, including wage and hour laws. Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies, notices, and employee inquiries in a timely manner. Manage and support the employee pay card program (Wisely) including enrollments, updates, and troubleshooting. Generate payroll reports and assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting. Complete required federal, state, and local payroll surveys and reporting requests. Collaborate with Payroll, HR, and leadership teams to ensure payroll deadlines are met. Maintain strict confidentiality and integrity when handling payroll information. Perform additional payroll or HR-related tasks as assigned. Qualifications2+ years of payroll experience required, including 1-2 years processing multi-state payroll. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience). Strong knowledge of payroll practices, payroll taxes, and compliance requirements. Advanced Excel skills required (formulas, VLOOKUP, high-volume data management). Experience with ADP Workforce Now Payroll strongly preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams). Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Strong communication skills and ability to work with employees at all levels. High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and customer service.
