If you're hungry to build a varied and meaningful career in a community of brilliant and diverse minds to make a real difference, there's only one choice.Distribution Strategy LeadYOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe primary responsibilities of this role, Distribution Strategy Lead, are to: Define mid / long term channel strategy including channel selection (route, number of layers) in tandem with GTM strategy : point of contact for Bayer Sales Access process; Collaborate with GTM Strategy Team to segment channel and define clear value propositions / channel investment per segment; Monitor channel trends and support strategic decision making for country go forward GTM strategy to drive demand generation; Define commercial strategy and distribution policy for each channel vertical to ensure desired performance and demand generation; Monitor the timeliness and effectiveness of GTM plan execution, track aligned top 3 KPIs (e.g. market share, shelf share, sell-in, sell through and sell-out) vs plan; Establish an engagement cycle to develop long term relationships with existing and new channels reflecting grower preferences and market trends as well as identifying differentiation and partnering potential; Define and implement channel services strategy including business model and support structure; Collaborate with CX activation team to provide guidance on sell out partner program focused on driving local demand generation across all grower segments; Define and measure channel / distribution compensation by product, aligning with internal profitability expectations, growth targets and competitive pressure; Key point of contact for DAD and CP distribution related questions from unit and a/c mgt teams. WHO YOU AREBayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:Required Qualifications: 3-5 years of Seed and Crop Protection marketing, product management and business analysis experience; Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects / priorities simultaneously; Strong strategic and analytical skills; deep understanding of P&L components and drivers ; Demonstrated ability to develop and execute promotional programs that increase brand equity and assist partners with growing net sales; Strong competitive assessment and brand portfolio management skills; Solid understanding and ability to use the marketing mix; Demonstrated work history of creativity in problem solving ; Deep understanding of US corn, soybean and cotton markets; Ability to collaborate and influence cross functional teams; Excellent oral, written and presentation skills; Proficiency to build measurement system to track plan effectiveness and facilitate pan adjustments as needed. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business management, marketing, agronomy or a related field, MBA preferred; 15 years of business experience in relatable sales and or marketing roles. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant).
