Project Accountant

Project Accountant Location: Bloomingdale Industry: Electrical / Construction Join a reputable electrical contracting company seeking a detail-oriented Project Accountant to support billing, job cost tracking, and project financials. Strong experience with construction pay applications, lien waivers, and change orders is required. Key Responsibilities Prepare and submit construction pay applications (AIA formats preferred) Collect, verify, and track lien waivers and compliance documentation Process and monitor change orders, pricing, and billing adjustments Review subcontractor/vendor invoices and compare to contracts/POs Maintain project budgets, job cost reports, and committed cost tracking Coordinate with Project Managers on billing, AR, and financial updates Support contract setup, billing schedules, and documentation accuracy Requirements Strong hands-on experience with: Construction pay applications Lien waiver collection/review Change order billing/documentation Prior construction accounting experience required Proficiency with construction accounting systems (Spectrum, Viewpoint, CMiC, Procore, etc.) Excellent organization, accuracy, and communication skills Ability to manage deadlines across multiple projects Why This Role?
