Company:KellyJob Title:Assembly TechnicianLocation:Santa Clara, CAPay Rate:$23.00/hourSchedule:7:00 AM - 3:30 PMPosition Type:Temporary to PermanentSteel-Toed Boots Required:YesForklift/PIT Required:No (No driving responsibilities assigned at any point during the assignment)Job SummaryAs an Assembly Technician at Kelly, you will assemble, test, troubleshoot, and ensure the quality of electromechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies in a dynamic warehouse environment. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to follow detailed instructions. Overtime and Saturday shifts are available on a voluntary basis.Key Responsibilities+ Read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings, bills of materials, and work instructions.+ Accurately assemble products according to process documentation.+ Perform electrical testing, troubleshooting, and maintain quality documentation.+ Use hand tools, measuring devices (micrometers, calipers, gauge pins), and testing equipment (HiPot tester, multimeter).+ Inspect incoming and outgoing parts for compliance with specifications.+ Pack and ship finished assemblies per Work Orders.+ Perform wire cutting, unpacking, and repacking as needed.+ Support inventory management and control non-conforming materials.+ Assist with ISO document maintenance, audit support, and participate in yearly ISO training.+ Handle warehouse responsibilities, including packaging and material handling.+ Other duties as assigned by management.Required Qualifications+ High school diploma or GED required; technical school preferred.+ Minimum 1 year of experience in assembly, quality control, or inventory management.+ Ability to read and comprehend schematics, work instructions, and bills of material.+ Strong mechanical aptitude and critical thinking skills.+ Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems.+ Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.+ Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.+ Ability to organize and prioritize tasks efficiently.Preferred Experience:+ Previous electromechanical assembly and/or warehouse experience.+ Experience with wire cutting, packaging, or material handling.+ Experience operating PIT or forklift equipment is a plus (but not required).Working Conditions & Physical Demands+ Work involves regular movement in a warehouse/manufacturing setting.+ Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 lbs.+ Ability to sit, walk, use hands, stoop, kneel, climb, and communicate effectively.+ May occasionally work with electrical equipment and hazardous materials (up to 20% of time).+ No travel required.+ Reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.Additional Information+ All offers of employment are contingent on successfully meeting all company requirements.+ Management reserves the right to assign or modify duties as needed.+ Commitment to effective customer service, integrity, and teamwork required.+ Kelly is an Equal Opportunity Employer; all qualified applicants will receive consideration, regardless of legally protected status.As part of our promise to talent, Kelly supports those who work with us through a variety of benefits, perks, and work-related resources.
